Silicon Republic is reporting that UK mobile network providers including Orange, O2 and Vodaphone, are in a bidding war for the right to provide wireless services for the new Apple Tablet device. If the article is correct, then it confirms the supposition that at least one version of the Apple Tablet includes 3G wireless connectivity.
According to the report, Apple is courting multiple carriers this time around as opposed to focusing on a single carrier as they did with the iPhone release.
The report also indicates that the Tablet will contain an OLED display – contradicting the Ars Technica analysis that suggested that 10″ OLED panels were not in sufficient supply to meet Apple’s demands.
